    • Keep the website functioning properly
    • Maintain authorized administrative sessions
    • remember limited preferences
    • Measure website traffic and performance
    • Understand which schools, programs, and articles visitors find useful
    • Prevent spam, fraud, and abuse

You can adjust cookie settings through your browser. Blocking certain essential technologies may affect administrative or interactive features, but it should not prevent you from browsing the public directory.

When You Request Information From a School

When you submit a Request Information form for a school or campus, Auto School Guide may provide the information you entered to the specific school, campus, or training provider you selected so that it can respond to your inquiry.

The selected school may contact you using the contact methods and permissions described on the form you submitted. Once your information has been provided to that school, its own privacy policy and information-handling practices also apply.

Auto School Guide does not send a student inquiry to schools that the visitor did not select or authorize through the applicable form.

Auto School Guide is not an educational institution and does not control how an independently operated school processes information after receiving an authorized inquiry. Review the school’s privacy policy and the consent language on the form before submitting your information.

    Advertising Inquiries

When a school, training provider, or other organization submits the Advertise With Us form, we use the information to:

    • Respond to the request
    • Provide information about directory visibility and advertising opportunities
    • Evaluate a potential business relationship
    • Maintain a record of the inquiry
    • Prevent duplicate, fraudulent, or spam submissions

Advertising inquiries are kept separate from prospective-student inquiries and are not treated as student leads.

    How We Use Information

We may use collected information to:

    • Provide and operate Auto School Guide
    • Display relevant schools, campuses, and training programs
    • Process and route authorized school-information requests
    • Respond to questions and advertising inquiries
    • Maintain school and program listings
    • Improve website content, search tools, and user experience
    • Monitor website performance and usage
    • Protect the website, its visitors, schools, and Weboganic
    • Detect and prevent spam, fraud, security incidents, and misuse
    • Maintain administrative and editorial accounts
    • Comply with legal obligations
    • Enforce our Terms of Use

We do not use information submitted through a student Request Information form to send the inquiry to unrelated schools without the visitor’s direction or consent.

These providers may process information only as needed to perform services for us, subject to their agreements and applicable law.

Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets, reorganization, or similar business transaction. Any recipient would remain subject to applicable privacy obligations.

We Do Not Sell Personal Information

Auto School Guide and Weboganic do not sell personal information for money or other valuable consideration.

We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as the terms “sell” and “share” are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act.

Because we do not sell or share personal information in this manner, Auto School Guide does not currently provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” opt-out link.

If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any legally required notice and opt-out mechanism before beginning the new practice.

We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.

    Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, documenting consent, maintaining business records, preventing fraud and duplicate submissions, resolving disputes, and complying with legal obligations.

Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and why it was collected. Authorized administrators may delete advertising inquiries and other records when they are no longer needed, subject to applicable legal and operational requirements.

    Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.

However, no website, database, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please use care when submitting information online.

    Your Privacy Choices

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to:

    • Confirm whether we maintain personal information about you
    • Provide access to certain personal information
    • Correct inaccurate personal information
    • Delete personal information
    • Explain how information has been used or disclosed
    • Stop receiving nonessential communications from us

To make a privacy request, email info@weboganic.com with the subject line “Auto School Guide Privacy Request.”

Please describe your request and identify the form or interaction through which you provided your information. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. We will use information provided for verification only to evaluate and respond to the request.

Some information may be retained when required or permitted by law, including records needed for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, and documentation of consent.

    California Privacy Rights

California residents may have privacy rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act when those laws apply. These may include the right to:

    • Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected
    • Know the sources, purposes, and categories of recipients associated with that information
    • Request access to or deletion of personal information
    • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
    • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
    • Limit certain uses of sensitive personal information
    • Receive equal service and pricing without unlawful discrimination for exercising privacy rights

Auto School Guide does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We also do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a separate right to limit under California law.

California residents may submit a request by emailing info@weboganic.com with the subject line “California Privacy Request.”

You may use an authorized agent to submit a request where permitted by law. We may require proof of the agent’s authority and may need to verify your identity directly.

We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

    California “Shine the Light” disclosure

California Civil Code Section 1798.83 permits certain California residents to request information concerning specified disclosures of personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.

Auto School Guide does not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.

Questions or requests relating to this provision may be sent to info@weboganic.com with the subject line “California Shine the Light Request.”

    Global Privacy Control

Where legally required, we recognize supported browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control. Because Auto School Guide does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, receiving such a signal does not alter our current practices.

    Children’s Privacy

Auto School Guide is intended for a general audience exploring postsecondary education and career training. The website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the website, contact us at info@weboganic.com so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Visitors under 18 should involve a parent or legal guardian when evaluating schools, submitting contact information, or making education-related decisions.

    Third-Party Websites

Auto School Guide contains links to schools, government resources, professional organizations, and other third-party websites.

We do not control these websites and are not responsible for their content, security, or privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any third-party website before providing personal information.

    International Visitors

Auto School Guide is operated in the United States and is primarily intended for users, schools, and training providers located in the United States.

If you access the website from another country, you understand that information may be processed and stored in the United States, subject to applicable law.

    Changes to This Policy
